The centers International certificate Becomes an Academic Core Curriculum for First-year preparatory Saudi University Students

According to the agreement, basic and advanced level qualifying courses will be provided within the academic curriculum to first-year Saudi university students to sit for the internationally recognized Certifcate in It Skills validated by Cambridge International Examinations.2012-2013  

RIYADH --- August 12, 2012 --- The National Company for Training Technologies, the exclusive representative of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Cambridge Information Technology Skills Center, signed a cooperation agreement with Riyadh-based Education Experts; a national company specialized in assisting companies and individuals with unlimited ambitions to develop in a knowledge society.

According to the agreement, basic and advanced level qualifying courses will be provided within the academic curriculum to first-year Saudi university students to sit for the international Certificate in IT skills validated by Cambridge International examinations, starting next semester 2012-2013. 

The agreement was signed by the National Company for Training Technologies general Manager Dr. Omar ben Mohammad Basodan and the International Affairs Advisor and General Supervisor at Education Experts Dr. Jamal ben Al Hassan Al Hifthi in the presence of the Education Experts CEO Mr. Abdullah Ben Mansour Al Qahtani.

Mr. Al Qahtani expressed his satisfaction with the signing of the agreement saying “we are happy to sign such an agreement to offer the IT Skills Certificate validated by Cambridge International Examinations-University of Cambridge which is considered one of the largest providers of international qualifications worldwide.”

He stated that this partnership comes as an extension to the international academic accreditations which the curriculum of the Education Experts acquire and it falls within the influential partnerships with national, regional and international organizations in the field of education and training.

“We are keen to make this certificate an academic program in the Saudi universities curriculum where Education Experts is in charge of its operation. The participating students will be granted an advanced or basic certificate according to the modules he/she passes,” Al Qahtani added.

The program of the advanced certificate consists of seven modules while the basic is four out of the seven original modules. The certificate is recognized by the Ministry of Civil Service and by the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC).

Meanwhile, Salah Abu-Osbeh, Executive Director at Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization, the exclusive representative of this certificate on the Arab world level said: “the international partnerships and alliances always lead to high quality successes.”

He added “this partnership between the Education Experts and the National Company for Training Technologies is one of the significant partnerships that are being operational in a high professional method to fulfill the required goals aiming at developing special skills in ICT usages and documentation.”

Signing this agreement is considered another success to Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Cambridge Information Technology Skills Center which is currently operational in most of the Arab states and its certificate has been accredited recognized by governments and educational entities for its high quality.
