Abu-Ghazaleh Meets Kuwait's Minister of Information

The two parties discuss several key issues related to media and economy
KUWAIT-----May 22, 2012------Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) met with Kuwait Minister of Information Sheikh Mohammad Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah and discussed several key issues related to media and economy.
Abu-Ghazaleh underlined the importance of media especially in reporting on economic issues calling on media to devote more attention to spread awareness on what is economically occurring around the world whether positive or negative. They also underlined the need for special programs that highlight the role of media in development.
Abu-Ghazaleh recalled the education course in the Arab world during which he accompanied Sheikha Suad Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah who was the first to call for the development of education programs in the Arab region and supervised the first important study through the Arab Thought Forum.
During the meeting, the two parties also tackled the selection of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh within the World Trade Organization (WTO) panel by its Director-General Pascal Lamy to identify 21st Century trade challenges and means to encounter existing obstacles.
