UAE's Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan Hosts Abu-Ghazaleh at the 3rd Corporate Governance Conference

The two-day conference entitled 'Corporate Governance in the UAE: Regulatory and Practical Perspectives' will address the challenges of governance in Arab countries

ABU DHABI------- March 15, 2012------ HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman and CEO of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Overseas Corporation (TAGOCorp) was invited by HH Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research to attend the 3rd Abu Dhabi Corporate Governance Conference which kicked off on Wednesday at the InterContinental Hotel in Abu Dhabi.

The two-day conference entitled 'Corporate Governance in the UAE: Regulatory and Practical Perspectives' will be addressing the challenges of governance in Arab countries by highlighting integration strategies and its application within long-term institutional plans to ensure continued corporate and economic sustainability in the public and private sectors.

A key focus area will be also on corporate governance and systems of banks in the state and its impact on protecting the banking system from financial shocks and crisis through lessons learned during the last few years.
