TAGI to provide Financial Auditing Services to MCA-Jordan

The audit will be conducted on three major projects of MCA-Jordan: the Water Network Project, the Wastewater Network Project and As-Samra Expansion Project
AMMAN--------February 19, 2012-------Talal Abu-Ghazaleh & Co International (TAGI) signed an agreement with Millennium Challenge Account – Jordan (MCA-Jordan) to provide financial audit services for the Years 2009-2012.
The audit will be conducted on three major projects of MCA-Jordan: the Water Network Project with an estimated cost of $102 million to restructure and rehabilitate water networks in Zarqa and Russeifa cities, the Wastewater Network Project ($58 million) to expand and rehabilitate the wastewater network to increase the amount of wastewater collected for treatment, increases households access to the network, and reduces sewage overflow and As-Samra Expansion Project ($93 million).
The MCC resources is funded by Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) and managed by Millennium Challenge Account - MCA-Jordan.

Meanwhile, MCA-Jordan CEO Eng. Kamal Zoubi said: “Talal Abu-Ghazaleh & Co International was selected as our company’s auditor through a transparent tendering process managed by the Government Tenders Department, MCA-Jordan’s procurement agent. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization will perform financial audit of MCC resources and producing reports that confirm to MCC’s standards and requirements. Rather than conducting it once, the audit will take place biannually to ensure more accuracy and control."
