JOrchestra and the Musicians of the Savonlinna Music Academy, Finland

AMMAN- Maestro Mohammad Sidiq will conduct the Jordanian National Orchestra and the Musicians of the Savonlinna Music Academy of Finland on music by Mozart and Beethoven on November 9 2016  at 7.30 PM, at Al Hussein Cultural Centre in Amman.

Mark Gothoni (violin), Yuko Myagawa (cello) and Paavali Jumpannen (piano) will delight the audience with the triple Concerto for violin, cello and piano in C major, Op. 56 by Ludwig Van Beethoven. The orchestra will perform also the famous Eine Kleine Nachtmusik by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the Waltz Triste by Sibelius.

The continuous cooperation with international musicians and conductors is one of the mission of the Jordanian National Orchestra Association, aiming to enhance the music scene in Jordan and the Region by promoting a cultural exchange as an asset for promoting social cohesion, economic opportunities in a new sector, for the benefit of development of the civil society.

All the concerts’ proceeds go to support the Jordanian National Orchestra, a national cultural initiative born with the aim to develop and reinforce the music culture in Jordan with a series of concerts and projects with leading local and international musicians, conductors and composers.
