Abu-Ghazaleh Launches Talal Abu-Ghazaleh International Records

AMMAN - Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) will launch the newly established music-recording label Talal Abu-Ghazaleh International Records (TAGI-Records) with the aim of developing the music industry in Jordan.

The music-recording label aims to expand and provide musicians and producers consultancy and assistance regarding the protection of their rights, and develop awareness concerning copyrights protection.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh’s support and appreciation for music is well-known, and ranges from chairing and funding the non-profit Jordanian National Orchestra Association (JOrchestra) to the meritorious activity for Salzburg Festival to the “Opéra National de Paris”, which recently dedicated a decorative chandelier lamp at the Palais Garnier in Paris to his name.
 
TAGI-Records’ first release is the album PETRA by Luca Aquino and JOrchestra, which is the result of the cooperation with UNESCO Amman office and Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority. An unprecedented recording project, realized in the archeological park of Petra within the framework of #UNITE4HERIATGE UNESCO campaign, emerged from Italian trumpeter and composer Luca Aquino’s passion for using natural acoustic reverberations in archaeological sites to enhance musical composition.
