Abu-Ghazaleh Tackles Opportunities of Tourism Investment with Syrian Minister of Tourism

 

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed the Group’s readiness to put all the potential and expertise at the service of the Ministry

DAMASCUS------- October 31, 2011----- HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman and CEO of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org), discussed with HE Dr. Lamya' Aasy, Syrian Minister of Tourism, the opportunities of tourism investment in Syria, particularly those related to religious sites and medical tourism.

Talks focused on the importance of raising efficiency and level of training in the field of tourism, qualifying cadres of young men and women at highly professional standards, organizing marketing campaigns, preparing comprehensive guides, enriching websites with information and printing booklets dealing with every sector of tourism under the title "Tourism in Syria is more than tourism".

The meeting also tackled the medical tourism city project presented by TAG-Org.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed the Group’s readiness to put all the potential and expertise at the service of the Ministry to develop and implement this project.

The Minister of Tourism thanked Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh for the visit, and expressed the Ministry's keenness to enhance cooperation with TAG-Org and take advantage of its professional services provided in Syria and the Arab world.
