Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAGO) has expressed its gratitude to the Lebanese Government decree and the Prime Minister Decision, to assign it the development and operation of four ministerial websites in addition to a management institute website.

TAGO aims at developing an Arab world to become an integral part of the global knowledge economy and with a focus on the utilization of digital technologies to build Arab capacities and global linkages.

The announcement precedes the forthcoming Lebanon E-strategy meeting of the United Nations Information, Communication Technologies Task Force Arab Network, which will be held on June 13-14, 2003, at the Phoenicia Inter-Continental Hotel.  The meeting will be held under the High Patronage of His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Lebanon, General Emile LAHOUD and will be organized by the UN ICT Arab Region Network, Banque Du Liban and Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization.  The two day meeting will address the development of ICT policy and strategy, with multi-stakeholder participation, for the United Nation's ICT Network in Lebanon.

It's worth noting that TAGO has operated for years the WTO Arabic website www.wtoarab.org, the UN Information and Communication Technologies Task force (UN ICT TF) Arab Regional Network, www.unicttf-arab.org, in addition to numerous other international organization websites.
