Palestinian Ministry of National Economy Holds a Workshop on Industrial Property

RAMALLAH – The Department of Intellectual Property (IP) in the Palestinian Ministry of National Economy organized a workshop on Industrial Property and IP March 24 in Ramallah.
According to Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) – West Bank office, the workshop was attended by the Department’s general director, a number of the Ministry’s employees, representatives from the Union of Palestinian Industries, and representatives from the Commercial Department in the American Consulate, in addition to a number of Palestinian IP agents.
The workshop highlighted the importance of IP and its influence on the Palestinian private sector.
The session further discussed the various methods of improving the performance of the Department of Intellectual Property in order to reduce procedures and increase the Department’s efficiency.
