Jordan Customs Department & AGIP Hold IP Training Course in Aqaba
22 Jul 2005AQABA - Jordan’s Customs Department in cooperation with Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) will organize a training program entitled "Intellectual Property" in Aqaba September 27-28 at the Aqaba Customs Center.
The two-day event will focus on all aspects of intellectual property, copyright laws and brands protection.
AGIP's consultants Sakhr Al Khasawneh and Ala' Musleh will provide an extensive look at Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) and the IP situation in the Kingdom with a special focus on the Gulf countries and the world.
“This is the third training program conducted for the employees of the Customs Department, who showed unmatched enthusiasm in this field," Musleh told ag-IP-news Agency.
He added that there will be more courses in the future.
The training course reinforces the significance of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which was signed by the Customs Department and AGIP on July 18, 2005, aimed at increasing cooperation between the two parties and enhancing their efforts in protecting IPRs.
