Aqaba IP Course Starts Today
27 Sep 2005AQABA - Jordan’s Customs Department in cooperation with Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) continue their efforts to promote more understanding to the concept of intellectual property (IP) among the department’s employees by holding a training course entitled "Intellectual Property" in Aqaba which was launched today at the Aqaba Customs Center.
The two-day event will focus on all aspects of intellectual property, copyright laws and brands protection.
AGIP's consultants Sakhr Al Khasawneh and Ala' Musleh will provide an extensive look at Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) and the IP situation in the Kingdom with a special focus on the Gulf countries and the world.
The training course reinforces the significance of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which was signed by the Customs Department and AGIP on July 18, 2005, aimed at increasing cooperation between the two parties and enhancing their efforts in protecting IPRs.
