Global Youth Forum at AUC

March 15, 2006, Cairo, Egypt - A coalition of industry, government and opinion leaders from Asia and Europe - the Evian Group - will be holding a one-day seminar at the American University in Cairo (AUC) to discuss the role of today's youth in the global economy. Participants in the forum will include Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman and CEO of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh International Group, Michael Garett, chairman of the Evian Group, Jean-Pierre Lehmann of the IMD Business School and founding director of the Evian Group, and Talaat Abdel-Malek, economics professor at AUC. The forum will take place on March 21, 2006 in Hill House from 9:00 am until 7:00 pm.
 
 
The seminar will include workshops on immigration, environment, education, conflict, gender, capacity building, institutional reform, multiculturalism and media to prepare students to become innovative agents for change and development.
