Introductory IP Course for AGIP Recruits

AMMAN - Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) held a course entitled “Introduction to Intellectual Property; Types and Aspects” April 11-12, 2007 at the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Cambridge IT Skills Center, Amman.
“The course aims at educating the company's new employees regarding the different aspects of IP and the procedures implemented in Jordan,” AGIP Training Manager Hams Madanat said.
Madanat who piloted the course, discussed the different aspects of trademarks newly introduced trademarks with sound and smell, patents, copyrights, geographical indications.
“These training courses are important because they update AGIP staff with the required information and skills necessary for their daily working tasks,” she added.
“I really enjoyed the course as it was very informative and provided us with an overview of IP aspects. Group discussion really helped, because it allowed me to share my ideas with my colleagues in a friendly environment,” Mohammed Nazzal who attended the course stated.
