TAGI-Quality Control Conducts IFRS Training
13 Aug 2007AMMAN- The Quality Control Department - Talal Abu-Ghazaleh & Co. International (TAGI) held an internal training course entitled “Introduction to IFRS” from August 5, 2007 till August 7, 2007 at Abu-Ghazaleh Cambridge IT Center. Approximately 24 auditors attended the training course.
The aim of the course is to provide the auditors with the latest updates which occurred on the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
The Director of the Quality Control Department, Ayman Hasan, delivered the course. He noted that “the course was conducted to enhance the auditors’ knowledge and competence of the IFRSs, which is very important to the effectiveness of the audit conduct and towards the continuance professional education requirements of TAGI employees".
“The training course is beneficial it enriched our knowledge specially that it focused on the latest updates that occurred on the IFRS” Hasan Takroui, Audit Manager said.
On the other hand, Ali Salameh auditor noted “the training clarified various misunderstanding about the implementation of IFRS.”
TAGI Quality Control Department’s main objective is to maintain and develop higher level of quality and professional practice in the fields of auditing, financial consulting, and internal auditing according to the standards and pronouncements promulgated by international bodies.
