US Embassy Officials Visit AGIP Mumbai Office
27 Aug 2007MUMBAI - A delegation of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) experts paid an official visit to Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) office in Mumbai on August 24, 2007.
Mr. Dominic Keating, Attache for Intellectual Property Rights at the US Embassy in New Delhi and the accompanied officials exchanged views on a range of issues relating to IPRs, their development and enforcement with AGIP India Office Manager, Khalid Al-Khalidi.
According to Al-Khalidi, discussions focused on exploring ways to further strengthen cooperation in raising awareness of the strategic importance of IPRs in India.
“They also expressed their continued support to AGIP Mumbai office on any matter related to IPRs,” he said.
Commercial Specialist for IP at the US Embassy in New Delhi, Ms. Sanjit Kaur Batra and International Trade Specialist, Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology Office at the US Department of Commerce, Ms. Shalizeh Nadjmi, also attended the meetings.
