TAGITRAINING and IRD Sign Agreement

The agreement aims to enable and train 400 young men and women in Amman on entrepreneurial skills to start their own businesses, promote their civil involvements within their communities and provide them with the theoretical and practical training needed to obtain sustainable employment opportunities

AMMAN------- January 4, 2011-------- Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Professional Training (TAGITRAINING), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization, signed a comprehensive training agreement with the International Relief and Development (IRD), Jordan Office.

The agreement aims to enable and train 400 young men and women in Amman on entrepreneurial skills to start their own businesses, promote their civil involvements within their communities and provide them with theoretical and practical training needed to obtain sustainable employment opportunities through Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Program in Support of Small and Medium Enterprises.

Mr. Bassam Abu-Ghazaleh, executive director of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Professional Training, stressed the importance of signing the agreement, pointing out that the Organization is very keen to provide high quality and internationally recognized training and professional services.

He added, the Organization will utilize the services of a group of its experts specialized in the field of development and vocational training for small and medium enterprises to ensure the success of this cooperation and to maintain performing its responsibility and role in the local community through providing it with the qualified cadres.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Sue Ellis, the Country Director - Jordan of the International Relief and Development and TAGITRAINING Executive Director Mr. Bassam Abu-Ghazaleh.
