A Host of New Expertise Joins Economic Policy Development Forum

Fathi Jaghbir, Mr. Nabil Ismail, Mr. Othman Al Nashashibi, Mr. Mohammad Taha Al Harahsheh and Dr. Ibrahim OthmanAMMAN ----- November 12, 2013 -------- The Economic Policy Development Forum announced the joining of new figures representing various sectors in the society who expressed their pride in joining this creative initiative and to contribute to the productive national action; asserting keenness to exert all efforts to participate in and support the programs and activities of the Forum.
The new members include Prof. Dr. Adel Tweissi, Dr. Mousa Shtaiwi, Mr. Tareq Hijazi, Mr. Mohammed Bilbeisi, Mr. Nasser Abu Khalaf, Eng. Musa Al-Saket, Mr. Malek Haddad, Mr. Mamoun Abu Al-Dahab, Eng. Fathi Jaghbir, Mr. Nabil Ismail, Mr. Othman Al Nashashibi, Mr. Mohammad Taha Al Harahsheh and Dr. Ibrahim Othman.
HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Chairman of the Forum expressed his pride in all key figures who will work on a voluntary basis to contribute in the service of their country with their knowledge and experience, each within his specialty.
HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh stated that the membership door is open for those who wish to contribute side by side with other members.
It is worth mentioning that the Forum was established in June 2011 as a voluntary, independent and non-official initiative aiming at promoting the economic development. It comprises ministries, former officials, intellects, businessman, academics and civil society leaders. The task forces emerging from the Forum achieved several studies in various disciplines, which highlighted the weaknesses and imbalances in performance in order to assist the state institutions to handle them.
The Forum is currently working in collaboration and partnership with the Arab Thought Forum (ATF), sponsored by H.R.H. Prince El Hassan bin Talal to prepare an Arab Economic Charter where 19 task forces of professionals and experts have been formed to achieve this goal.
