TAG-Org Sponsors Child Development Center in Oman

MUSCAT------- October 17, 2012 --------- HE Dr. Talal Abu- Ghazaleh, chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org), met a delegation from the civil volunteer project “Child Development Center” headed by the Center Manager Ms. Samiya bint Salim bin Hamad AlKalbani. The delegation praised the special donation by HE Dr. Abu- Ghazaleh to train and qualify 15 female members for the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Cambridge IT Skills Diploma.

The Head of Delegation gave a summary on the activities presented by the Center to the people of the region especially that Moqniate town, where is the Center is located, is 50km far from the center of Ebri’s district in AlThahira province  and has a large population density. These activities include many services rendered on the basis of voluntary work to children and mothers.

The Center currently accommodates155 children due to modest capabilities, and provides training opportunities to mothers through simple workshops to train them on making clay, colors and handicrafts.

Throughout the meeting, Ms. AlKalbani expressed her gratitude for the training provided to supervisors at the Child Development Center overseeing children under school age, particularly children from low-income families. She also said that such center is considered the only one in the Ebri district, and it trains children with special needs with other children to urge them to integrate.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh toured the Center and immediately announced TAG-Org's readiness to sponsor the establishment of a computer lab equipped with the highest technical equipments to serve the people of this region by stating:"We should support the people who volunteer to help others and we are proud to be part of their humanitarian work. TAG-Org will stand and support them because we believe that the mission of education knows no barriers."

At the end of the visit, AlKalbani presented a symbolic gift to HE Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, expressing her thanks and gratitude to the generous gesture of the Organization.

It is worth mentioning that TAG-Org has been operating in Oman for more than 33 years, and is considered one of the top professional organizations in the Sultanate, providing its services in the fields of auditing, Intellectual Property and training.
