HH Prime Minister of Kuwait Receives HE Dr. Talal Abu- Ghazaleh

The meeting focused on a presentation made by Dr. Abu- Ghazaleh, member of the World Trade Organization (WTO) Panel to Identify 21st Century Trade Challenges, regarding the outcomes of WTO meetings held in Geneva

KUWAIT-------- October 15, 2012--------- HH the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received HE Dr. Talal Abu- Ghazaleh, chairman of Talal Abu- Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) at Bayan Palace.

The meeting focused on a presentation made by Dr. Abu- Ghazaleh, member of the World Trade Organization (WTO) Panel to Identify 21st Century Trade Challenges, regarding the outcomes of WTO meetings held in Geneva last week. HH the Prime Minister reviewed the progress of the WTO panel assigned to identify the challenges faced by the global economy.

Dr. Abu- Ghazaleh emphasized to HH the Prime Minister that since he was selected as a member of the panel, he has dedicated his role and efforts to serve the Arab economic interests. He has also communicated with the Arab ambassadors in Geneva as well as officials in the Arab countries to hear their views, meet their aspirations and include them in the panel report that will be presented to the next WTO ministerial meeting.

Furthermore, Dr. Abu- Ghazaleh informed HH the Prime Minister of the deliberations of the meetings with ambassadors as well as the outcomes of the special meeting held in Geneva with the Arab ambassadors to the WTO.

Dr. Abu- Ghazaleh listened to some notes and directions in this regard from HH the Prime Minister who praised his role and efforts in serving the Arab interests.
