ASCA Launches Smart Phones Application on Android System and Soon on Apple-IOS System

AMMAN --- October 15, 2012---- In order to keep pace with the accelerated developments in the information and communication technology, the Arab Society of Certified Accountants (ASCA) launched smart phones application through a program downloaded on any Android version. Such application allows members and students to access information, books, procedures as well as all ASCA news and services through smart phones rather than computer.

ASCA application on mobile phones is considered one of the services presented to its members and other interested parties, in order to be able to access and interact with the available data and easily send requests. Upon using this program, ASCA members will obtain the latest data and developments via their mobile phone.

It is worth mentioning that ASCA will soon launch its application on Apple-IOS system, so that it will cover about 90% of smart phones.
ASCA application was designed under the supervision of technicians and experts in the E-solutions Department at Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org).

On his part, HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, ASCA Chairman, praised this qualitative achievement as it easily and simply provides students and members with the Society’s services. He also praised ASCA’s ongoing keenness to upgrade its services and meet latest developments in the ICT world.

The Arab Society of Certified Accountants (ASCA) was established on January 12, 1984 as a non- profit professional accounting association in London, UK. It was formally registered in Amman on February 24, 1994. The notion of establishing ASCA aims at advancing the profession of accounting, auditing and other related disciplines in the countries of the Arab League. ASCA also aims at maintaining the professional independence of Arab accountants and their protection, as well as the application of professional supervisory measures as a way to elevate the professions of accounting and auditing. It also aims at developing and facilitating the continuous spread and exchange of professional and technical information and its continuous exchange among accountants and professionals.
