TAG- Confucius Announces Additional Chinese Language Courses to Cope with Growing Demand
20 Sep 2012AMMAN----September 20, 2012------ Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Confucius Institute (TAG- Confucius), the official testing center for China's Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi or the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) announced additional Chinese language courses for all levels.
Mr. Tareq Hammad, TAG- Confucius executive director said:"We are happy with this announcement. The demand for these course is phenomenal and we are glad to see registered individuals representing all ages."
He added:" The Chinese language has recently gained a lot of interest by students and we would like to see more entering the amazing world of Chinese language."
In June 2012, TAG- Confucius hosted the 2nd HSK Advanced Level Test for its students.
The HSK is an international standardized exam that tests and rates Chinese language proficiency. It assesses non-native Chinese speakers’ abilities in using the Chinese language in their daily, academic and professional lives. There are six levels of writing tests, namely the HSK (level I), HSK (level II), HSK (level III), HSK (level IV), HSK (level V), and HSK (level VI). There are three levels of speaking tests, namely the HSK (beginner level), HSK (intermediate level), and HSK (advanced level). During the speaking test, test takers’ speeches will be recorded.

Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Confucius Institute was established in September 2008 to promote the Chinese language and culture, in order to reach a better mutual understanding between Arab and Chinese cultures.
