TAG- Confucius Participates in Jubilee School Cultural Day

AMMAN-------May 2, 2012------- Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Confucius Institute (TAG- Confucius), the official testing center for China's Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi or the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) took part in the cultural day organized by the Jubilee School in Amman.
TAG- Confucius was presented with a trophy from the Jubilee Center for Excellence in Education (King Hussein Foundation) for its participation and contribution in spreading knowledge about Chinese culture and language.
Mustafa Al Husseini, TAG- Confucius executive director said:"We are really proud of being part of such an event at the Jubilee School. We have demonstrated the Chinese culture through our booth at the event, books, brochures, Chinese traditional costumes as well as Chinese tea was offered to students and guests."
He added:"This is our second participation in the cultural day and we hope we will continue next year."
Russian, German, Turkish, Romanian, cultural centers took part in the event which witnessed a host of foreigners, students and interested individuals enjoying a day of different cultures.
About TAG- Confucius
Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Confucius Institute was established in September 2008 to promote the Chinese language and culture, in order to reach a better mutual understanding between Arab and Chinese cultures. This is one-of-a-kind initiative based on the cooperation agreement between Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) and the Confucius Institute in China. The Institute was named after Confucius, the world-renowned great thinker, educator and philosopher in Chinese history. Confucius' thoughts have influenced China and other areas in the world for nearly 2000 years.
