TAG-ITI Draws Plans for Several Future Projects during GITEX Technology Week

DUBAI , October 20, 2008,  Participating for the first time in the region’s largest information and communication technology exhibition, GITEX Technology Week, the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org), the regional professional leader with 71 offices in 35 countries concluded its first day with several key meetings with the region’s leading companies and organizations.

TAG-ITI, TAG-Org’s ICT consultancy arm, which has seen strong growth over the past year and has successfully been awarded many projects across the Middle East, drafted several cooperation agreements in the field of IT with several companies from Asia, Europe and the United States.

“We have also discussed ways of cooperation with Oracle, SAGE and Dibon in the IT field,” TAG-ITI’s Executive Director Mr. Jamal Al Khalili said.

“We had many requests from organizations in the region interested in our web design services,” he added.

TAG-ITI is taking advantage of the GITEX week to introduce its new services which include: ERP consultancy, ICT and security auditing, ICT vendor selection, Business technology solutions and Web solution services.

Meanwhile, TAG-Academies held several meetings to provide its unmatched training services and capacity development programs.

TAG-Academies Regional Executive Director Mr. Salah Abu Osbeh said, “Our meetings with the Dubai Government were fruitful and very constructive in drawing the plans for training and capacity development programs.”

“Bahrain’s New Horizon is interested in training while Qatar’s QTel is interested in domain name registration,” he added.

The 28th edition of the show organized by the Dubai World Trade Center officially opened October 19 welcoming more than 130,000 visitors and 3,300 companies from 83 countries over the next four days.

TAG-Org booth is located at B6-40 and the GITEX Technology Week is open from 10am - 7pm.
