‘Abu-Ghazaleh Consult’ Delivers a Lecture on ISO Management System for the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army

AMMAN – Talal Abu-Ghazaleh & Co. International (TAG-Consult), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), delivered a lecture entitled “ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System” to the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army personnel at the Military Laboratories for Quality Control. The session was presented by Eng. Ibrahim Abu Naffa, TAG-Consult executive director in cooperation with Eng. Amena Masoud, and Consultant Mr. Jawad Obeidat.

During the visit, Colonel Khader Mohammad Al-Dawoodieh, director of the Military Laboratories for Quality Control, provided an overview of the progress and successes achieved by the Military Laboratories. He further expressed his appreciation to the TAG.Global’s initiative which aims at enhancing quality management concepts and sharing expertise with national institutions. The lecture, attended by personnel from the Jordanian Armed Forces working in the Directorate of Military Laboratories and other departments, introduced participants to the principles of quality management systems, an understanding of the standard's structure and requirements, and an introduction to risk and opportunity management.

It is noteworthy to mention that the Military Laboratories for Quality Control has previously obtained ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Certification, aligning with its vision to establish accredited laboratories at the national and international levels provided with skilled engineers and technicians, equipped with modern laboratory devices, and supported by an advanced administrative system and suitable infrastructure. These Laboratories include specialized units such as the Food Chemistry Section, Detergents and Cosmetics Section, Microbiology Section, Textiles Section, Equipment's, Research and Development (R&D) Section,  Proficiency and Development Section, and Ammunition Surveillance Lab. The laboratories' procedures closely align with the key areas highlighted in the lecture.
