Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Forum’s One Community Committee Convenes

AMMAN – The One Community Committee of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Forum (TAGKF) held its first meeting stressing that people of all segments of society should live together in the society regardless of their differences on the basis of justice and equality and without any sort of discrimination.

Members of the Committee, headed by Dr. Israa’ Al Jayousi – a certified trainer, stated that all community categories have rights that should not be neglected or marginalized.

They also affirmed the necessity to integrate persons with special needs in the society in all fields of life and to provide the poor and low-income people with the needed support and protect them from being subject to diseases and any sort of disability, and to offer the comprehensive medical care to orphans and help them live within the matrix of the one unified community not to forget the required care and attention to the elderly at the special homes and provide them with the psychological support.

TAGKF established many committees whose members are experts, officials and stakeholders from different sectors in the Kingdom proposing applicable recommendations to be submitted to decision makers. Such committees work voluntarily with the aim of serving the country and further assisting in its development.
