Abu-Ghazaleh at Dubai Training Conference: Building innovative capacities achieves development

DUBAI - HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh stated that achieving development and serving the economy could only be realized through capacity building.

At the 10th Forum for Training and Human Resource Departments, held recently in Dubai under the theme “Strategic Transformation in the Future of Human Resources and Training in the Upcoming Century”, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh said in his key speech, “we have to realize that future is based on knowledge and knowledge products, and in order to set up HR strategies in the era of digital evolution, we have to be aware of future technologies that will significantly affect the future of labor market and lead to the disappearance of some professions and jobs and the emergence of new ones founded on the new technologies.”

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh briefed the attendees on some of the future technologies; most importantly the Artificial Intelligence, Synthetic Biology, Nanotechnology, advanced humanoid robots, bioprinting that will create new future professions.

He emphasized the significance of adopting a new outlook to education to boost human resource capabilities by moving from education to learning where the task of educators is to become guides and mentors to students by explaining how to learn and use ICT for their study instead of teaching, and to focus on the importance of constant HR training for development and overcoming challenges.

Moreover, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh called on the Forum organizers to choose ‘Creativity’ as the theme of the next forum since creativity mainly in the field of knowledge and IT is the path for future, success and wealth.

During the Forum, participants discussed the interactive methods in training that are consistent with the digital evolution, HR Strategies in the Upcoming Century, Impact of Digital Evolution on Future Trends in Building and Creating Human Capital.
