TAG Organizes an Orientation Workshop for New Employees
16 Mar 2017 Amman - The Human Resources Department at Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Group held its second orientation workshop at TAG College building to present its portfolio of activities to new employees who joined the Group in 2016.This step pursued by the Group is aimed to brief new staff members on policies and the comprehensive set of integrated professional services it offers through its various subsidiaries.
During the workshop, Mr. Alaa Yassin, Executive Director of Human Resources at the TAG-Group, welcomed the new staff members, and gave a presentation about the group’s background including its history and establishment, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, its organizational structure and management policies, as well as staff obligations, rights and duties.
He added that the total number of Jordanian employees working at the regional office of the group based in Amman in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is 450employees, responsible for the management of all businesses and the affairs of the group through its 86 offices scattered all over the world.
In addition to Mr Yassin, a number of corporate executives also gave, in their turn, an overview of the subsidiary companies, their establishment and the services they provide. They recounted success stories and accomplishments, and the mechanisms and means pursued to ensure their growth and development in various countries around the world.
The speakers also reviewed the achievements of the Group, noting that it has received more than 1,000 honorary shields so far. They indicated that the group had successfully founded and managed more than 400 Knowledge Stations, and developed the TAG-Cloud through the Group's website. An additional success is shown by the fact that the Group currently owns more than 100 patents in the field of information technology solutions and communications.
