ASCA and Al-Isra University Sign Cooperation Agreement

The University agreed to adopt professional publications issued by ASCA such as the accounting and auditing international standards which are applied and used all over the world

AMMAN---------January 3, 2012--------- The Arab Society of Certified Accountants (ASCA) and Al-Isra University signed recently a cooperation agreement in several fields with a special focus on enriching the educational plan of the Accounting Department at the Financial and Administrative Science Faculty.

The agreement was signed by ASCA Chairman HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh and President of Al-Isra University Dr. Nouman Al-Khatib.

According to the agreement both parties agreed to amend the curriculum for the Department of Accounting for the 2012-2013 to include the Arab Certified Public Accountant (ACPA) and to market training courses of ASCA and the Arab Management Accountant Certificate (ACMA) and the CIMA Certificate in Islamic Finance issued by ASCA in addition to holding specialized training courses for the University students, especially the graduates, to enhance their skills and knowledge and qualify them for the labor market.

Also the University agreed to adopt professional publications issued by ASCA such as the accounting and auditing international standards which are applied and used all over the world in addition to others.
