ASCA Kicks Off Qualification Courses for the ACPA Examinations at Yarmouk University

IRBID-------- December 13, 2011-------- The Arab Society of Certified Accountants (ASCA) held the first qualification course for the Arab Certified Professional Accountant "ACPA" certificate at the Society’s branch at Queen Rania Center for Jordanian Studies and Community Service- Yarmouk University.


The course witnessed the participation of students from the accounting and business faculties at the University as well as accountants and auditors from a number of major companies and institutions.
During the course, specialized trainers and a number of Jordanian university professors lectured in the fields of accounting, auditing and economics.

 
Practical application has also been made to questions and model answers for previous years’ examinations.
ASCA management held introductory lectures in the areas in the north of the Kingdom to introduce them to the professional qualifications offered by ASCA’s branch at Yarmouk University. Emphasis was placed on the importance of courses for developing skills of participants, guiding their behaviors and sharpening their capabilities to become effective in their institutions and work.

 
It is worthy to mention that the opening of ASCA’s branch at Queen Rania Center for Jordanian Studies and Community Service at the Campus of Yarmouk University was held within an official ceremony under the patronage of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, ASCA Chairman, and Dr. Abdallah Almousa, President of Yarmoul University. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Khaled Abu-Zeid, Governor of Irbid, a number of the region's members of the Lower House, deputies of the university president, a group of economic and financial activities and officers from various institutions and departments of the governorate of Irbid, as well as ASCA administrative staff.
