Ma'an Municipality Establishes 'Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Al-Namouthajiah' Park

MA'AN – April 3, 2016 - Ma’an Municipality, headed by HE Mr. Majid Sharari, has launched “Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Al-Namouthajiah Park”, in recognition of the efforts and the activities of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh in Ma’an.

The Municipality named the Park after Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh since his first visit to Ma'an that coincided with the launch of a host of projects established by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization and study the possible ways of serving the city through contributing to community development and providing training and development for all those in need in the region.

Highlighting this recognition, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh stressed that the service projects and the activities carried out by the Organization for the city is a part of its social responsibility adding and thanking Mayor Sharari  “These activities are only a beginning of multiple projects in the near future that stem from the pure love for Ma’an in my heart.”

Meanwhile, HE Sharari confirmed “This is only a small part of the recognition of one of the great figures of this homeland whom Ma’an considers one of its sons who always works to serve it and serve others in the society."

“Ma’an Municipality always strives to thank its loyal sons in its own way for their continuous contact with the city and its sons and daughters. Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh has never hesitated to visit the city and provide all that can be provided at all the public, private and civil levels,” he pointed out. 

The family-oriented Park is eight donums and located in a residential and lively area, opposite to the Department of Agriculture, serving all the families of the city. It will be equipped with children's games and toys, planted with trees and designed as appropriate for families’ gatherings including fountains and waterfalls and others.
