Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization Establishes Regional Electronic Archiving Office in Ma’an
10 Jan 2016MA’AN- January 10, 2016 - Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) established its regional electronic archiving office in the governorate of Ma’an, as a realization of the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II pertaining to developing the Kingdom’s governorates, and supporting the population of the local community through all available means.
His Excellency Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman of TAG-Org, stated that establishing that regional archiving office took place in order to end its centralization in Amman, in addition to archiving all of TAG-Org’s business, which is distributed all over the world, with more than 80 offices and more than 150 representative offices.
He stressed that selecting the governorate of Ma’an was to utilize the qualified and competent work force of the governorate, in addition to being one of the projects the Organization provides to support the local community in the governorate.
He pointed out that a number of the governorate’s young men and women were recruited to work in the office, and that the appropriate training and qualifications to perform the job would be provided.
He expressed his deep gratitude to Ma’an Development Company represented by its Chairman Engineer Shehadeh Abu-Hdeib and its CEO Engineer Hussein Kreishan, and all of the Company’s workers, for all their contributions to the Organization and to the service of the local community.
The electronic archiving project in the governorate of Ma’an takes place in accordance with the modern techniques of information and communication systems, which are considered among the requirements of this age, in order to keep pace with modern technological revolutions that made a deep-rooted change to the old and traditional concept of paper documents and the mechanism of storing, archiving and sharing them.
This also stems from the belief in the importance of this technology in saving data and converting it from paper to electronic format, in order to achieve integrity, save the costs of destroying paper documents, and facilitate sharing and retrieving data, in addition to protecting documents of damage and theft.
