TAG-Org Office in Maan Provides Specialized Services to Investors in the Governorate

MAAN, Jordan ----September 3, 2015 -------The Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) newly established office in Maan began offering a host of services to the investors in the governorate and its people including: accounting, auditing, consultations, IT, education, Intellectual Property, translation, educational consultations, real estate services, research and evaluation as well as other services.

The opening of the office in Maan Development Company premises was held during a visit organized by TAG-Org with the presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Dana Firas and HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh and the accompanying delegation. The opening of the Office came as a result of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between TAG-Org and Maan Development Company to provide a variety of TAG-Org services to current and new investors, and to offer training programs which cover capacity building skills to all young people in the governorate.

During a meeting held with the investors to review their needs in the governorate and the obstacles that encounter their investments, and the services that TAG-Org will provide to improve the status of investments within the governorate.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh promised to introduce an investment guide prepared in cooperation with Maan Development Company to showcase examples about successful investments in the governorate and the most important investments needed while explaining the smooth procedures of investing and working in the governorate in addition to the available benefits.

He also urged the investors to invest in building a hotel and airport since such investments would greatly solve many of the investors’ problems related to accommodation and transportation in the governorate.

Eng. Shehadeh Abu Hudeib, chairman of the Board of Directors of Maan Development Company, assured that the first target is to service investors, overcome the obstacles facing them and add new investments to the list of Maan’s investments which is well- known for its geographical location between Aqaba and Saudi Arabia.

On the other hand, Mr. Hussein Krishan,  CEO of Maan Development Company, stated that despite the economic, political and security challenges and difficulties which took the region by storm, the seed of goodness implanted by His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein has blossomed into countless accomplishments in reality.

He added that these accomplishments include a group of projects such as; the improvement of the Maan Developmental Road , the construction of 12000 square meter of industrial buildings, the construction and development of management offices, the construction of hotel suites for the investors and visitors’ use, the construction of the Maan Developmental Customs Center, in addition to a leading project in the field of solar energy which is considered the largest in Jordan so far as it generates 1 megawatt of electricity through solar cells to cover the needs of the female students dorms in the Maan Development Area.

From their side, the investors underlined the importance of constructing a land port, providing transportation from/ to Amman and from /to Aqaba, and unifying the governmental bodies into one single entity when finalizing their transactions.

They also stressed on the importance of reviving the old airport in Maan and its importance in the time being, while pointing out the importance of setting directional signs to the industrial area on the way in and out of the governorate.

The visit to Maan Development Company included a tour to some of the operational factories in the governorate.
