TAG-Org Signs Agreement with Al Hussein University to Establish a Special Studies Center in the Region
18 Aug 2015MA’AN, Jordan --- August 18- 2015 ---- Under the patronage of HRH Princess Dana Firas, Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) and the Al Hussein University signed a cooperation agreement to establish a studies and consultation center at the University’s headquarters in Ma’an.
The agreement, signed by HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh and the University President Dr. Ali Qaisi, aims at developing and preparing educational, economic and strategic studies.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh indicated that the governorate of Ma’an needs to develop its valuable human resources and build capacities of its young population, underlining his role as a proud citizen working for the best interest of his homeland. He further emphasized his aim to provide solid educational experience and qualifications to serve all members of the governorate.
This initiative aims to benefit a variety of ages, categories, investors and stakeholders.
Abu-Ghazaleh has also announced his intention to provide additional projects.
Meanwhile, Dr. Al Qaisi noted the mutual benefits of establishing the center, saying that the University as well as the citizens of the governorate of Ma’an will gain from the center. “Opening the Center requires further study regarding expansion into various governorates as well as a studying the most popular specialties students are interested in.”
This center, once approved by government, is established to determine the applicability of projects and recommendations provided by TAG-Org and the University in terms of accreditation, setting plans for other small projects, implementation of electronic education, as well as professional training.
The signatory ceremony which was held on University premises, signifies the importance of establishing a center providing studies and services of an accredited entity.
At the end of the ceremony, the University President honored HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh with the University shield in gratitude and recognition of the variety of services provided for the community in the governorate of Ma’an.
