Two honoured for success
13 Apr 1993BAHRAINI Tawfiq Al Maskati was praised yesterday for successfully achieving a prestigious accounting certification.
Mr. Al Maskati, who works as a development analyst with the Housing Bank, is the first Bahraini to receive the Arab Society of Certified Accountants (ASCA) certification.
He took three years to achieve the certification.
“We’re extremely proud to have the first Bahraini graduate,” said ASCA president Talal Abu-Ghazaleh.
“He has demonstrated the high standards of professionalism in this country.”
Mr. Abu-Ghazaleh also congratulated Fatima Saleh Ghazi, a Saudi national, for being the first Arab woman to achieve the ASCA certification.
