Bahrain firm fares well

The Talal Abu-Ghazaleh International Group registered an impressive growth during 1993, according to its executive chairman. “The Group, with its five companies, achieved total growth ranging from 35 to 40 percent. New offices have been opened in Algeria, Morocco, Khartoum and Ramalla in the West Bank. The Group is witnessing a major economic boom with prospects ushered in by the peace process in the region” Talal Abu-Ghazaleh told a meeting of the Annual General Assembly, held recently in Munich. It is understood that a seminar on ‘Industrial Properties’ was held alongside the meeting. Several officials of the group and guests including Mohammed Darrar Al Sheer, Trade marks Controller at the Bahrain’s Ministry of Commerce and Agriculture are reported to have attended the event held under the theme, ‘The Importance of Industrial Property Protection’.
