AMMAN - A training course entitled "Protection Against Illegal Competition in Intellectual Property" is to begin today at the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Professional Training (PROTAG) premises.

The manager of PROTAG explained that the course comes after increased global awareness generallly and Jordanian awareness specifically in the subject of Intellectual Property (IP), especially following a pledge made by the Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to HM King Abdullah II to continuously support the creation of an IP system that would promote development, encourage foreign investment and support local creative energy in Jordan.

 

Participants of the course will include several judges, lawyers and trademark registration and protection officials from various local and Arab firms and institutions.
