- PRESS RELEASE
After extensive study and research, this agency, which exists in the form of a free web service, was officially launched on July 1st.
As a member of the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAGO), Ag-IP-news Agency promises to be the leader in its field and to move in parallel with the fast-growing and widespread interest in IP domains. Ag-IP-News aims to fulfill its single mission: to provide users worldwide with a credible source of news and reports in this field.
The creation of this website was motivated by the efforts of the Intellectual Property society to enhance and promote IP awareness around the world and in the Arab countries. TAGO's commitment to the protection of Intellectual Property comes from its belief in the importance of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) and their role in creating a dynamic, innovative business environment that will contribute to sustainable economic progress and development.
The Agency has quickly gained support from major IP organizations, such as the World Intellectual Property Organization, the European Patent Office (EPO), the International Trademark Association, and distinguished international law firms.
The distinctiveness of this website comes from its specialty in its exclusive coverage of Intellectual Property news, events, and activities. It seeks to provide its readers with the latest IP news and reports, analyses, IP regulations updates, and live coverage of events - available to all users at all times.
The website also features a number of free professional services: a daily poll, a link to articles contributed from IP experts and organizations located all over the globe, a calendar of events, a news ticker, and an easy-to-use search engine.
Furthermore, the Agency is intent on providing a professional service characterized by its objectivity, neutrality, and credibility. To ensure this end, a professional and highly qualified team of journalists manages the Agency, guaranteeing direct coverage of IP events through their vast connectivity to the IP society.
The Agency, reporting in both Arabic and English, will be a credible source of information that satisfies the growing interest in issues relating to IP. It will also contribute to the promotion of IP awareness in the region and around the world.
