Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property Award for Al-Jazeera Channel

DOHA - Al-Jazeera Channel on Tuesday was awarded Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property Award for superiority in a special ceremony held in Doha.
The Award was presented for the brand with the most global impact which was protected successfully from infringement and unauthorized use in 120 countries by Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property, a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAGO).
"The future looks brighter than ever for Al Jazeera which was placed in the fifth place in the latest survey conducted by BrandChannel," Chairman of Board of Directors of TAGO, Talal Abu-Ghazaleh said.
He added that the cooperation between Al-Jazeera Channel and AGIP in areas of intellectual property rights is excellent.
Meanwhile, Hammad Al-Ne'ami, Marketing director of Al Jazeera said that Intellectual Property issues are essential in this world.
"We are happy and proud of being able to protect our brand in the world with the help of AGIP, the leaders in IP," he said.
"We thank AGIP's team for the efforts and work they performed in the process," he added.
The event was attended by eminent economists, ambassadors, diplomats and officials in the business world.
