.ye Domain Name is Now Available for Registration in Yemen
22 Feb 2005SANA'A -The Data Network and Internet Department at the Public Telecommunication Corporation in the Republic of Yemen announced the launching of the registration of country-code Top Level Domain (ccTLD) .ye as of February 22, 2005.
According to a press release by Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP), the company was the first firm to register its domain name agip.com.ye under .ye.
As of today, AGIP will be rendering domain names registration services for its clients in the Republic of Yemen. In order to commence with the registration procedures a duly legalized power of attorney from the applicant should be submitted.
Registrations will be valid for one year from the registration date, and are renewable upon expiry.
