The Participation of TAG TDP in the Fifth International Conference on Translation and Language
18 Dec 2005Mr. Abdel Muti Abu Sammour, the Executive Manager of Abu-Ghazaleh Translation, Distribution and Publishing (TAG TDP) delivered a lecture entitled "Difficulties and Experiences in translation as a Profession."
His lecture came within the activities of the Fifth International conference on Translation and Language organized by Atlas International Center for Studies and Research, the official sponsor of the conference entitled "Contemporary issues in translation and language," during the period 18-19/12/2005 in Al Zarqa Private University.
The conference hosted an elite group of translation and Arabization experts. The head of the preliminary committee and the General Manager of Atlas International Center for Studies and Research, Dr. Suliman Abbass, opened the Conference. A number of conference sessions addressed research presented by professors from Jordanian and Arab Universities, in addition to professors from Beirut Translation School, University of Miens in Germany, as well as professors from Geneva University in Switzerland. The conference concluded with the announcement of the most important suggested recommendations and the closing statement.
