AMMAN - The Arab Intellectual Property Mediation and Arbitration Society will be holding the exams for the first course entitled “Introduction to Intellectual Property” for the Arab Certified Intellectual Property Practitioner (ACIPP) on March 14, 2006 at the Center for Consultations, Technical Services, and Studies, at the University of Jordan.
ACIPP is a professional Arabic program offering advanced teaching and training for Arab practitioners. It aims at providing an easier understanding of modern principles that govern IP, as well as access to knowledge and international developments, so that the practitioner may be able to provide his/her services in line with international standards.
Last June, the Arab Society for Intellectual Property (ASIP) Chairman Talal Abu-Ghazaleh and President of the University of Jordan, Abdelrahim A. Hunaiti, signed the ACIPP Agreement, which took effect from the date of its signing.
