AMMAN - The Arab Society for Intellectual Property (ASIP) announced on Tuesday that it will be holding the examination for the Arab Certified Intellectual Property Practitioner (ACIPP) programs' second course "Trademarks and Unfair Competition" on June 20, 2006 at Talal Abu-Ghazaleh College of Business in Amman.
ACIPP is a professional Arabic program offering advanced teaching and training for Arab practitioners. It aims at providing an easier understanding of modern principles that govern IP, as well as access to knowledge and international developments, so that the practitioner may be able to provide his/her services in line with international standards.
Last June, ASIP Chairman Talal Abu-Ghazaleh and President of the University of Jordan, Abdelrahim A. Hunaiti, signed the ACIPP Agreement, which took effect from the date of its signing.
