BEIRUT – Abu-Ghazaleh Cambridge IT Skills Certificate has been officially recognized by the Lebanese Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
In a meeting that was held between Lebanese Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr. Khaled Qabbani and Mr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Chairman and CEO of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAGorg), the Minister declared the Ministry’s official recognition of Abu-Ghazaleh Cambridge IT Skills Certificate in accordance with the joint venture agreement signed between the two parties.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Ministry and the Organization last September at UNESCO Palace in Beirut to establish a mutual project on how to use information technology to train the Ministry's academic and administrative staff by experts from Abu-Ghazaleh Cambridge IT Skills Center.
According to the Memorandum, this training certificate is considered one of the requirements at the Public Directorate for Vocational and Technical Education in Lebanon.  Moreover, trainees who will successfully finish the training course will be given this certificate jointly from Aldar Consulting Co. and Talal Abu-Ghazaleh & Co.

During the meeting, the two parties also tackled various issues related to building human capacities through training, education and the use of Information Technology and Communications.
