TAG-Knowledge Participates in the 3rd Conference of Youth and Technology

AMMAN ---- June 23, 2011---Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Society (TAG-Knowledge) and Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Recruitment (TAG-Recruit) participated recently in the 3rd Conference of Youth and Technology entitled "Young Women and Economic Empowerment" organized by the Association of Jordanian Women’s Solidarity Institute in accordance with the Higher Council of Youth in Amman Youth Hostel.

The Conference aimed at enhancing and building the young people technological capacities and equipping them with the skills that qualify them for the labor market in addition to the social communication skills. This year, the Conference focused on the economic empowerment and increasing employment opportunities for young women.

The representatives of the TAG-Knowledge and TAG-Recruit explained to the audience the methods of preparing curriculum vitae and the services, activities and professional qualifications provided by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org).

Mr. Tareq Hammad, executive director of TAG-Knowledge, confirmed that the development of human resources is very crucial and the young women should improve their skills, especially those related to the Information and Communications Technology in order to meet job requirements with the view of positively contributing to the development of their communities and the organizations in which they operate.

Mrs. Nevin Shihab, senior recruitment officer stressed that TAG-Recruit seeks to build the capacities of job seekers through its participation in conferences, Job Fairs and organizing workshops and professional courses on curriculum vitae and work interviews in addition to communication skills.
