ASIP and AIPMAS to hold 19th Annual Board Meeting
06 Sep 2006AMMAN – The Arab Society for Intellectual Property (ASIP) and the Arab Intellectual Property Mediation and Arbitration Society (AIPMAS) will be holding the Annual Board Meeting on September 7, 2006.
The 19th Annual Board Meeting will take place at the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh College of Business (TAGCB) / German-Jordanian University in which members will discuss key issues, including;
• New members joining ASIP
• The Arab Certified Intellectual Property Practitioner Program (ACIPP)
• Launching of the IP Masters program
• Other ASIP training courses
ASIP is a specialized Arab professional body, which enjoys the status of an observing member at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and is a member at the group of non-governmental organizations with a consultative position at the UN Social and Economic Council.
AIPMAS aims at promoting and reinforcing the system of Intellectual Property in Jordan, and enhancing competence and knowledge of professionals working in this field. Additionally, the Society resolves conflicts of Intellectual Property through international arbitrators applying international rules.
