AGIP Pakistan Office Acquires ISO 9001:2000 Certification

KARACHI - In a landmark development in the Intellectual Property field in Pakistan, Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) has become the first firm to obtain the prestigious ISO 9001:2000 certification.
 
According to a press release by AGIP, the certification was awarded to AGIP by TQCS International and JAS-ANZ on September 21, 2006, after meeting rigorous International Quality Management System requirements.
 
"We are extremely proud to have achieved this international recognition which is a result of our persistent efforts and focus on providing high-quality Intellectual Property services in Pakistan," said AGIP Pakistan Office Manager Mr. Aamir Khan.
 
Mr. Khan added that the certification underlines AGIP's continuous commitment to the upgrading of the Intellectual Property infrastructure in Pakistan in addition to its adherence to international quality standards.
 
The world's most accepted quality standard, ISO 9001:2000, specifies requirements for a quality management system for any organization that needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products that meet customer and applicable regulatory requirements and aim to enhance customers' satisfaction.
