ASIP Holds ACIPP Exam for Copyright & Related Rights Course in December
27 Nov 2006AMMAN - The Arab Society for Intellectual Property (ASIP) will be holding the exam for the fourth course entitled "Copyright and Related Rights" for the Arab Certified Intellectual Property Practitioner (ACIPP) program on December 5, 2006 at the premises of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh College of Business / German Jordanian University (TAGCB/GJU).
ACIPP Program consists of four courses; the first entitled “Introduction to Intellectual Property”, the second is “Trademarks and Unfair Competition” and the third is “Patents of Invention and Trade Secrets”. At the end of each course, participants sit for the exam upon which those who successfully pass are granted certificates.
ACIPP is a professional Arabic program offering advanced teaching and training for Arab practitioners. It aims at providing an easier understanding of modern principles that govern Intellectual Property (IP), as well as access to knowledge and international developments, so that the practitioner may be able to provide his/her services in line with international standards.
ASIP is a specialized Arab professional body that aims at enhancing and developing the protection of IP system through various means of awareness and education, which explain the nature of work in this field and its effective role in the economy.
