Abu-Ghazaleh Highly Commends the Advanced Level of Education in the College
27 Feb 2007AMMAN --- Students of the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh College of Business (TAGCB)/German-Jordanian University (GJU) had the opportunity to meet with one of the most successful figures in the business world; Mr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Chairman of TAGCB Advisory Board on February 22, 2007.
In an assembly held at the GJU, students from different specializations
gathered and listened to Abu-Ghazaleh’s thoughts on the current and future status of the College, as he expressed his pleasure with the professionalism of the school’s faculty, and consequently the advanced level of education available.
“I am extremely happy and satisfied with the level of education, students and faculty staff at the University. They are all remarkably excellent,” Abu-Ghazaleh said.
“The future looks bright for the students who are here to make a difference in the world of tomorrow and Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAGorg) will do everything it can to fulfill this objective,” he added.
The Chairman elaborated further on the support TAGorg would provide. “We are serious in training students and we understand the level we want you to reach. That is why we are 100 percent sure that TAGorg will be your second home after graduation,” he stated.
Abu-Ghazaleh also praised the level of cooperation between the University and the College. “Both institutions have the same message and ambition, is which essentially building a generation of creative individuals who will be making a profound impact on the future,” he said.
Students listened to the Chairman explaining the history of how TAGorg became the leading company in the Arab world, and how Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) became one of the top ten companies in the world.
Further, the stage was open for discussion by students who asked specific questions about the business, its future and Talal Abu-Ghazaleh himself.
Hundreds of students in addition to faculty staff attended the meeting.
The TAGCB was established on February 27, 2006, and is one of the colleges of the GJU. It came into being as a result of a unique partnership in the Arab world, between private and governmental sectors. This partnership enjoys the privilege of utilizing TAGorg’s business experience at the GJU, which is a governmental university that was created due to cooperation between the Jordanian and German governments. TAGCB’s headquarters are on Mecca Street in the Jordanian capital, Amman.
