AGIP Ranks Top Tier in MIP's World IP Firms Survey
13 Mar 2007AMMAN - Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) was ranked in Tier One for trademark, patent and copyright prosecution and contentious work in all Arab countries, according to the second and final part of the Managing Intellectual Property (MIP) 11th Annual World Survey of the world's leading IP firms released this month.
A press release by AGIP stated that this year, MIP's survey is the largest and most in-depth ever; it covered both prosecution and contentious work in 65 jurisdictions including the Americas, Asia and Europe.
AGIP's Executive Director Charles Sha’ban said, “MIP’s annual survey is valued by the IP profession because it represents an independent snapshot of which firms are highly rated in key markets.”
“We, in AGIP, are very pleased to have been ranked in the top tier of Arab firms for trademark, patent and copyright work. This manifests our unwavering commitment to providing the best quality service to our clients worldwide,” he added.
According to MIP, the results of the survey are the outcome of extensive research and interviews with practitioners worldwide. Based on this research, firms are ranked in tiers in each jurisdiction. In most jurisdictions, there are separate tables for prosecution and contentious work. Prosecution includes filing of trademarks and associated work, while contentious work includes all other legal work, such as enforcement and licensing.
