AGIP Joins ICC Pakistan
21 Jun 2007KARACHI - Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) announced in a Thursday press release that it has joined the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Pakistan on June 20, 2007.
Chaired by Tariq M. Rangoonwala, ICC Pakistan is a consultative body which provides guidelines and information to senior policy makers in Pakistan. ICC Pakistan is an active forum for enhancing the role and interests of the local and international business communities by promoting policies and reform initiatives to facilitate foreign direct investment and trade.
“AGIP is very proud to be a member in the ICC family. This joining came as a result of AGIP’s extensive experience and its long-established relations with several private, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations,” AGIP Pakistan Manager, Aamir Khan, said.
Through ICC Pakistan, AGIP will be involved in the following prominent commissions: Arbitration, Anti-Corruption, Commercial Law and Practice, Competition, E-Business, IT and Telecoms, Intellectual Property, Marketing and Advertisement, as well as Trade and Investment Policy.
